spin Concept to Complete xO RS

Hi guys and gals.

I'm going to start on a new car based on the xO500 dimensions and suspension but it will have a roof, windows and doors. I have 4-5 weeks to build it and maybe if I push my luck, 6 weeks.

Here is an idea of how it will look

And Here is the chassis design

If you can finish a car in 6 weeks that would be impressive! How do the doors work with the frame?

I'm hoping to make up lambo style hinges and mount them to the frame and the door. It might be tricky but I think I will make a frame to support the door(inside the door) as well. I will try and make the doors clip down to lock them in place.

I have a similar post running at locostbuilders UK. Anyways, the client wanted some design changes so the project has had yet another delay. I think it was a good decision as it reminded me too much of an MEV 7 (not that its bad, i'm a fan).

This is what we've done so far. to the body. All suspension components are ready, its just bodywork left to do and it looks like the windscreen is going to be a headache to make it fit.

So from this week its just fibre work and finishing of the body.
