I bought (built) a bigger home already, and I already have a few quick cars (a Ferrari and a Ginetta), but as long as work goes well for the next three months I see myself building a SL-R in the summer.

Same, but I might start to build my own on the cheap if I have to wait too long.

Default I am most definitely buying one in 6-12 months...

For the moment I am set on the MEV Rocket, but instead of running out and buying the focus donor (which I could afford now) I am going to continue saving more then perhaps reevaluate if I should continue saving much more for the SL-R or if this Mongrel Motorworks thing comes to fruition it may be in consideration as well.

Theres no "if" about it Sean, I got everything in it and no other direction to go.

I have to have the proto and jigs finished by June 30.

You won't need a donor, just an engine, ECU and the engine side of the wiring, everything else is brand new. Every part is easy and cheap to obtain OEM and the only special part is the custom CV shafts but with OEM CV ends.

I think the time 6 months is suitable.
